This Privacy Policy describes how Curtis Koons, MD (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information about visitors and subscribers of The Slow Saturday website and newsletter. - Email address — when you subscribe to the newsletter, request a free guide, or join a waitlist.
- Guide selections — which free resource you requested, so we can send the right material.
- Email replies — if you reply to a newsletter, we may receive and store the reply in our admin inbox to read and respond.
- Anonymous usage data — which notes and pages are read most often, aggregated for content planning. We do not use this to identify individuals.
How we use your information
We use your email address only to send The Slow Saturday newsletter, deliver any guides you requested, and respond to replies you send. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Service providers
Email delivery is handled by Resend, a transactional email service. Resend processes your email address only to send messages you have signed up for. Our site and database are hosted on Lovable Cloud, which provides the backend infrastructure and authentication services.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and anonymous traffic analytics. These are used to understand which content is popular and to improve the reading experience. You can disable cookies through your browser settings.
Data retention
We keep your email address and associated preferences for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your address is removed from the active mailing list. You may also contact us to request deletion of your data at any time.

We use industry-standard hosting, encrypted connections, and row-level access controls to protect subscriber data. However, no internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Slow Saturday is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
